WINRS collaborates with research teams to develop training programs that support effective stakeholder engagement. These programs are tailored to each project’s specific engagement activities, from one-time meetings to multi-year advisory roles.
Stakeholder advisor training programs prepare patients and community members to give constructive feedback on a wide range of research and educational materials. Our programs are grounded in adult learning principles and use strategies that engage learners with diverse literacy skills.
We also lead “train-the-trainer” programs that help research teams incorporate best practices in stakeholder engagement. In these programs, we share effective techniques and tools to recruit, manage, facilitate, and sustain advisory boards.
