WINRS co-directors present at community engaged research conference in DC
WINRS co-Directors, Gay Thomas and Betty Kaiser, shared a package of “tips and tools” during a 90-minute “Learning Lab” at the Meharry-Vanderbilt Advancing the Science of Community Engaged Research conference in Washington, DC, September 24-15. The WINRS team drew on their experience consulting on 9 projects funded by the Patient Centered Outcomes Research Institute (PCORI) to highlight two common stumbling blocks in stakeholder engagement and share strategies to effectively address these issues.
